Eyes aglow
With crack house
Fantasies,
Alabaster skinned
With a fortunate
Haircut,
We’ve seen
All these moves
Before,
The curled lip,
The awkward
Indie flamingo pose,
And now we know
Another
Broken
Sapling,
Piss wet
And splintered,
Has forgotten
The tree
Within.

Like your choice of words very much – “indie flamingo pose” and then later “piss wet/ and splintered”. The impact of some of the contrasts works beautifully.
