A Thought Sleeps

A thought sleeps
In the corner of the room
As we look on cooing,

The wandering nothing
That got brushed aside
Has found itself a spot,

And here we are,
Clasping on something silent
As the house slowly crumbles

Around us.

  1. Unless I’m misreading this, it is a powerful statement and well said. The “house” could very well be this world we live in.

  2. Cheers Charles. I’ve purposefully left it open to interpretation, so it can hopefully be both personal and worldly 🙂

  3. great metaphor for the house tumbling around you…
